  • We value community in all arenas, and that includes online. At no time can an individual or group use Huron’s institutional social media for the following:

    • Make an endorsement (for a product or politician, for instance), on behalf of Huron University College
    • Undermine institutional reputation of Huron or Western
    • Share personal messages
    • Any post that is abusive, harassing, stalking, trolling, threatening or attacking others
    • Posts that are defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or depicting violence
    • Posts hateful in language targeting race/ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality or political beliefs
    • Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading posts
    • Deliberate disruption of discussion
    • Posts that are “spam” or promotional in nature
    • Announcements, messages, language or media that are inconsistent with the University’s mission and values
