Wiiliam Lupton Honoured March 24, 2017 Huron's Chapel Organist and Director of Music, Mr. William Lupton, has been named an Associate of the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM). This designation is awarded for outstanding contributions to church music at a national level, and for important work within the RSCM. Only five such awards are granted each year. The Royal School of Church Music is an educational charity which, since 1927, has served to promote the study, practice and improvement of music in Christian worship. The RSCM supports a world-wide membership of churches, schools and individuals, and is sustained by thousands of donors and volunteers worldwide. William Lupton has been the Chapel Organist and Director of Music since 1995, he is Immediate Past President of the RSCM in Canada, current Chair of the Niagara-Huron Chapter, and Administrator/Head Examiner of the RSCM Singing Awards.
