At Huron, we are intentionally small. Small class sizes mean professors know students' names and have the capacity to provide individual support to position students for success. We are committed to offering the very best student experience, and we are tremendously proud of the personalized and caring environment we provide.
At Huron, you do not have to choose between intellectual curiosity and career readiness. Our Faculty offers more than 60 different programs with extensive opportunities for experiential and community-based learning. Our programs are relevant and build important skills such as communication, writing, creative problem solving, critical analysis, and collaboration. You can pursue your passion for literature and culture, languages, history, business, economics, philosophy, global studies, psychology, political science, or Jewish studies while at the same time building important work-related skills and the moral and ethical foundation to be a Leader with Heart.
Learning encompasses more than just your classroom experiences, so students in the Faculty of Arts and Social Science have the opportunity to engage in a variety of co-curricular activities including conducting research through the Centre for Undergraduate Research and completing a Leadership and Professional Development Certificate. Our commitment to remaining small means there are many unique opportunities for students who want to enrich their learning experiences.
