Convocation

CONGRATULATIONS TO HURON’S CLASS OF 2022

Western has announced that Spring Convocation will be celebrated in-person.

Please note that masking is required while indoors on campus.

 

Itinerary

10:30 a.m. : Graduands will need to pick up their hood and gown from Western prior to the Huron event. Regalia can be picked up in the Mustang Lounge (Main Floor UCC).

11:00 a.m. : Light Lunch and Reception for graduands and their families will be held in the Quad Courtyard at Huron

11:45 a.m. : Graduands must go to classrooms H111 or H112 (Frank Holmes Centre) to robe for the Academic Procession.

12:15 p.m. : The Celebration of Graduands will begin in the Huron Theatre located in the Frank Holmes Centre.

1:30 p.m. : We will ensure that our Huron Faculty of Arts and Social Science Celebration of Graduands concludes at this time.

  • Following the ceremony, students should remain in their academic regalia and assemble as a group on the front lawn for a class photograph.
  • Everyone will then process together to the Western Convocation Ceremony.

1:45 p.m. : Graduands and guests shall make their way over to Western for their Convocation Ceremony.

3:00 p.m. : Convocation ceremony at Western University will commence and graduands will receive their Western degree.

 

Complimentary parking is available all day in Huron’s Permit Lot (#22 on the map)

International Students Convocation

Congratulations to our International Leaders with Heart – you did it! Now, it’s time to honour your achievements. For international students who want their loved ones to attend Convocation, please complete and submit this form. A letter for each guest who will be attending will be issued to the student by the President. This letter is required for the travel VISA application process for that guest, and it is the student’s responsibility to ensure this letter reaches their guest on time to complete the process.

2020 and 2021 Graduates Celebration
