Attend Summer Orientation & Academic Registration (SOAR)

Throughout June and July, SOAR will teach you all about what to expect in your first year, help you meet other incoming students and assist with registering for your courses.

International Welcome Week

You’ll receive a warm welcome at the airport the moment your flight arrives. Our International Student Engagement team picks you up from the airport, helps you move into your dorm and takes care of everything you need to navigate moving to a new country: shopping for your dorm room, setting up a bank account, getting a SIM card and more. Before classes begin, enjoy two weeks of exciting orientation events on campus and throughout Ontario to help you make friends and settle into your new home.

The long-anticipated wait is over, and it’s time to pack your bags, meet new friends and settle in.



Take part in our country’s best OWeek Experience! Orientation Week is an annual welcome event hosted for incoming first-year students in September.

  • International Student Application Deadline (suggested): April 1, 2022
  • International Student Deadline to Accept Offer of Admission and pay $1,000 Admission Deposit: May 1, 2022 (unless otherwise stated on your Letter of Acceptance)
  • Domestic Student Deadline to Accept Offer of Admission: June 1, 2022 (unless otherwise stated on your Letter of Acceptance)
