Huron's great facilities can meet your conference needs. From weekend yoga retreats, family reunions and wedding parties, to corporate strategic planning sessions, we can accommodate your group for a day, a weekend, or even the whole summer. Huron is ready to welcome you throughout the year for events, with availability at our retreat centre, Brough House, during the academic year.
Our compact campus is situated on 42 scenic acres overlooking the Medway Valley forest. Parking, accommodations, meals and meeting rooms are all within close walking distance. Across the street, you'll find recreation facilities, campus pubs, a movie theatre and a library at The University of Western Ontario. If nightlife or shopping are on the agenda, the heart of downtown London is just 10 minutes away.

This is a multi-use room which can be set up theatre style 250; built-in data projector and screen.
Warm, cozy room set up living room style, but can be used for receptions, lectures, dinners or meetings.
Capacity 100 standing.
Bright, spacious and easily accessed.

Our classrooms and lecture theatres are equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Computer Lab and 24-hour e-mail access are also available. Wireless email accounts can be purchased and/or provided.

Huron offers temporary accommodations on campus throughout the year in Brough Guest House and during the summer season in our three other residence building. Each room comes furnished and air-conditioned with 24-hour guest services desk located in Huron’s West Wing Building and 24-hour campus security.
Nestled in a secluded area on the campus of Huron University College, Brough House offers a unique experience and has a variety of features that set it apart from other hotels. Tranquil and private, and with generous facilities for a variety of events, Brough Hall is an ideal location for a retreat, board meeting, reception or gathering.
This Tudor-style mansion was originally built and owned by the Cronyn family in 1936. The property was named “Burnlea” in recognition of the distinctive physical characteristics of the property, reminiscent of the Cronyn’s ancestral home in Scotland, and decorated with unique fixtures purchased on a trip to Italy. In 1954, Burnlea was sold to 12 Anglican laypeople who presented it to the College as a residence for theological students. The residence was re-named “Brough” in memory of Archdeacon C.C. Brough, a close friend of the late Bishop Cronyn. Later in 1960 it became a women’s residence, and is now used as a Guest House.

- Two bedrooms with one double bed each $45

Rooms with Ensuite/ Private Washroom:
- Two bedrooms with two double beds and Jack and Jill bathroom - $75
- Three bedrooms, with two double beds each - $75
- Two bedrooms, with two single beds and Jack and Jill Bathroom - $65
- Three bedrooms, with two single beds - $65

Brough House can be rented fully at a rate of $800.00 per night and is available May - August.
Staying in residence can be a unique and fun experience. We offer two rooms styles:
traditional single rooms with shared washroom facilities, or; suites each consisting of four single rooms with shared washroom facilities in the suite.
Rooms are equipped with:
- Single bed frame and mattress
- Desk and chair
- Closet or wardrobe
- Dresser or mate’s bed with drawers
- Bookshelves or wall shelving
