Services we offer
Huron Library offers many additional support and services to our faculty members including: course reserve support, research, writing, and teaching support, and finally, digital scholarship support.
COURSE READINGS SERVICE
The newly launched Course Readings service at the Huron Library assists faculty with all course material needs. In a nutshell, Course Readings is a repository of required and supplementary course materials, which ensure that readings are made available in digital format, when possible. Working within the bounds of current copyright legislation and fair dealing guidelines, we will digitize print content (e.g., book chapters, journal articles) wherever possible. We will also acquire access to electronic resources where this content is available for libraries to license.
In addition to Course Readings, the Library will continue to offer faculty the option to place course materials physically on reserve for either 2-hour, 1-day or 3-day loan.
To get started, log into Course Readings and submit your syllabus.
Next, add the OWL Course Readings tool to your OWL courses, so your students can find the readings easily.
