Lyndsay Day (She/Her) is a PhD candidate in the English and Writing Studies department at Western University. Her dissertation research examines the intersection of popular nineteenth-century genres (including Gothic, Sensation, and detective fiction), with technologies of visual culture. One of her goals is to contribute to the wider academic community by publishing some of this research. Lyndsay has TAed a variety of English courses, including introductory surveys of literature and specialized topics, such as the Victorian novel. She is looking forward to helping Huron students develop their writing and editing skills. Outside of school, Lyndsay loves watching baking shows (particularly of the British variety) and reading Marvel comics.
