What's Happening

We can’t say it enough, “Get involved!” Don’t just go to class and head home, or you’re going to miss out on the unique opportunities our close-knit community has to offer. Keep checking back to see which events we’re hosting, so you can meet new people and take part in activities that are going to make you a happier student and a more well-rounded leader.

Beyond the Classroom

Authentic education happens everywhere. We aim to give our students as many real-life learning experiences as we can, so they can extend what they learn in the classroom to their broader communities. This will help build upon your perspective, portfolio and personality, so when you graduate, you’re ready to get noticed and create positive change.

Meal Plan

All students living in residence must participate in the food plan. Students dine in the Huron Dining Hall, located on Huron's campus just a short walk from the residences. The meal plan is based on an "all you care to eat" system. The set price covers all meals, every day, for the entire academic year. The meal plan holder also has a set amount of funds available to purchase meals at any of the Huron food service locations, including selected vending machines located throughout the Huron campus.

Meal Plan Pricing

Your Huron Meal Plan is based on an ‘All You Care to Eat’ model. The cost of the meal plan covers all of the students meals in residence, every day, for the entire school year. A portion of your meal plan fee is designated as ‘Huron Flex Dollars’ which can be spent at the vending machines around Huron’s campus or the small retail kiosk in the Huron Dining Hall. Additional funds can be added to your Huron Flex account through the Huron Dining Hall Office.

A portion of your meal plan fees are also designated to ‘Western Flex dollars’ which can be spent at Western’s various eateries and any Western affiliated restaurants. Additional funds can be added to your Western Flex account through the Western Campus Meal Plan Office.

Explore London

London has a big city vibe - with the affordability and tight-knit feel you won't find from our neighbour, Toronto. Our city is home to nearly 400,000 people, including an excess of 50,000 university-aged students. The city is diverse and it's welcoming. Our community members appreciate the significant value our students contribute to our culture and economy, so they will be happy to have you visit them at their establishments - and work in their industries.

Learn why London is the place for you and what our locals get up to - after they're done studying (of course)!
