Learning to Thrive is a Wellness Services initiative aimed at supporting students to thrive, academically and personally. Build motivation, optimism, and resilience, along with learning strategy essentials like time management and effective studying.
Learning to Thrive welcomes all second year and above students including those on academic probation, students with disabilities, mature students, international students, working students, and students raising or caring for families. We welcome racialized and marginalized students, Indigenous students, equity-seeking students, LGBTQQIP2SAA students. Learning to Thrive is an in-person, 8 week group that builds on previously discussed materials. Can’t make it to all 8 weeks? No problem – come when you can and take what you need from each session.
Learning to Thrive is Co-curricular record approved if you complete 60% of the material!
